Template for Bucher tip profiling machine

Templates are available for bassoon reeds and - with the extension of the system to the profiler - for historical bassoons and contrabassoon.

The standard Bucher templates are in themselves harmonious and balanced. You achieve maximum profit from the machine with your own personal template, crafted individually according to your ideal reed. Your personal scrape will be constantly reproduced.
The templates are made of a hard bronze with phosphorus and have a constant thickness reference and perfect symmetry. They are rapidly and accurately interchangeable.
Based on one scraping form, following templates are freely selectable:

Original

Contains the specified values of the template.

PLUS

Is based on the original. The heart is marked, the increase more accentuated, especially in the central and lateral areas. The back third of the scrape is about 6 hundredths of millimetres thicker than the original.
